Allexis Cooper is on the Governance Committee at Legal Aid Justice Center. She is the second of five siblings. She was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA. She has three children and they currently reside in public housing. She is also a PHAR Assistant and a 2021 PHAR Fellow. She has organized numerous candidate forums.

She feels good about herself when she reaches out to help those in need, and is always willing to help and encourage everyone she comes into contact with. She plans to join the Legal Aid Center Board and bring many smiles and laughter.
